GARDEN DESIGN

COLLATING IDEAS AND VISION TO CREATE REALITY

Every garden transformation starts with a carefully considered design. We are delighted to work with our own, exclusive specialist garden designer.

Amber Jacklin holds Postgraduate Degree in Product Design, a Masters degree in Concept Art, over 10 years as a hands on gardener and a Diploma in Garden Design.

Amber is able to put your ideas to paper and create beautiful, hand created designs for your garden. This brings creativity and complete individuality to every garden we create.

MOODBOARDS

Moodboards – essential for exploriny style, visuals are the best way for us all to conduct critical thinking and therefore build a design.

  • Overall style and atmosphere
  • Planting palettes and textures
  • Material selections
  • Furniture and lighting concepts

This visual approach enables clear and effective communication, forming a strong foundation for the design.

BUBBLE PLANS

From idea to clarity, this is the stage where your garden design begins to take shape.
These are free-flowing, conceptual layouts are a vital part of the process, that allow us to:

  • Experiment with spatial arrangements
  • Define functional zones
  • Identify what works best for your lifestyle
  • Identify elements you love, those you don’t and what feels right in your ideal garden

Your feedback at this stage is invaluable. Open and honest input allows us to refine the layout and move closer to achieving your ideal garden.

CONCEPT PLANS

The concept plan provides a clear representation of the proposed design and forms the basis for the next stage of development.
This includes:

  • A scaled, fully considered layout
  • Coloured visuals to clearly define each element
  • A key to identify materials, features, and zones

3D MODELLING

Our 3D modelling process brings the design to life, allowing you to fully visualise your future garden.
Beyond visualisation, this stage enables:

  • Detailed level and gradient analysis
  • Consideration of symmetry, flow, and spatial relationships
  • Environmental analysis, including sun and shade patterns
  • Efficient material planning, supporting accurate costings
  • Accurate measurement of areas and volumes

A well-developed design at this stage ensures efficiency, reducing both time and cost during construction.

PLANTING PLANS

Our planting plans are thoughtfully curated, going far beyond simple plant selection.
We assess:

  • Soil conditions and drainage
  • Aspect and microclimates
  • Long-term growth and maintenance

Each planting scheme is tailored to your preferred style, whether that be:

  • Soft, naturalistic cottage planting
  • Bold, architectural schemes
  • Seasonal colour and textural interest

The result is a planting design that not only looks exceptional but thrives over time.
